Ducks sign Shane Hindy

The Ducks sign Shane Hindy to a two year contract for $1,515,000. He is primarily a 5th or 6th defenseman. So the question is what does this mean for DiPenta and Jackman.

We currently have the following defensemen signed:

Pronger, Schneider, Beauchemin, Huskins, O'Donnell, Kondratiev and Niedermeyer. Of course Niedermeyer is probably going to retire so he might be teamed with Huskins on the 3rd line. This makes for a very situation for the Ducks.
