Well that was a great and fun game to watch. The Ducks played well and did not have too many penalties. The stat for the game was that it took the Ducks 35:55 seconds for the Ducks to get their first penalty(not counting fighting majors). Anyway, here is the game coverage

Andy McDonald had a goal and an assist, Mathieu Schneider and Corey Perry scored power-play goals, and the Anaheim Ducks snapped a 10-game winless streak against the Buffalo Sabres with a 4-1 victory Wednesday night.

Burke's remarks were replayed before the game on the video board the game and again during the first intermission, with the sellout crowd of 17,174 crowd roaring its approval.

The Ducks dominated the second period, outshooting the Sabres 12-0 through the first 13 minutes of the period and took a 2-1 lead when Schnieder scored his third goal of the season, this one coming from the top of the right circle. It could have been 3-1 at that point, but Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller dove and covered a loose puck, which was slowly rolling toward the goal line. It came within inches of giving the Ducks another goal.

Clearly the news of his anticipated return gave the team a boost. Before the players can deal with anticipating the former captain’s return, the Ducks had a date with the Buffalo Sabres, a team they hadn’t played since 2005.
