2 minutes into the first Chris Pronger went to the sin bin for hooking. Seriously, 2 minutes & you couldn’t stay out of the box? Just as the penalty to Prongs expired Gabe Gauthier from the Kings scored but bouncing the puck off Ilya Bryzgalov. The Kings scored & didn’t even have a SOG. Sucks! 5 minutes into, Petteri Wirtanen (Ducks) went to the box for hooking. Hmm, I see we are liking the box again this season. Then 6 short minutes later Prongs went to the box for interference. At this point I was getting a little mad. Didn’t we learn how much trouble we get into when we spend so much time in the box??? I though maybe Prongs did learn his lesson when Matt Moulson (Kings) scored on the PP. Finally about 2 minutes later the Kings' Kevin Dallman took a high sticking call...bout damn time they call something on them...and no, I’m not bitter. With less than 6 minutes left in the period, the Ducks got on the board with a goal from Maxim Kondratiev from Bobby Ryan & Prongs. Unfortunately 5 minutes later the Kings Kyle Calder got the puck past Bryz to make it 3-1 Kings.
